Heathfield Bed and Breakfast offers a warm and friendly welcome and is located at 22 Prospect Hill. A short stroll from the harbour and beach with private parking and bus connections nearby. Friendly owners, John and Linda welcome you to Whitby and will be happy to guide you to the best attractions.
Our Facilities
Heathfield has 4 double guest bedrooms. With 3 on the first floor and a double annex bedroom on the ground floor with its own separate entrance. All of the guest bedrooms have en suite shower facilities with complimentary toiletries, towels and hairdryer. Tea and coffee making facilities and fresh milk are refilled daily. There is also a TV and DVD player for your enjoyment in each room.
To Start the day
With a delicious home-made breakfast, served in the light and airy dining room. Choose from a selection of fresh fruit juices, cereal and yogurts. A Full English Breakfast accompanied by toast and preserves is also available. For a lighter option, why not try our Whitby smoked kippers? Supplied by the famous Fortunes of Whitby. Heathfield Bed and Breakfast only use the finest and locally sourced ingredients.
Should you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know at your earliest convenience. We can provide you with a packed lunch to suit your requirements at an additional cost.
Out and about
Guests are welcome to leave their cars behind to go and discover the local area on foot and enjoy all that Whitby has to offer. From museums to quaint little shops, there is something for everybody. There are a vast range of cafes, bars and restaurants and not forgetting the famous Abbey ruins with its 199 steps. Visitors can also enjoy the glorious sandy beach which stretches all the way down to Sandsend (approximately 3 miles when the tide is out!) a lovely walk!
If you enjoy walking or cycling we are conveniently situated right next to the Cinder path leading to Robin Hoods Bay. Shorter strolls are also nearby to Ruswarp along the river. There is fantastic scenery for you to enjoy. If you fancy going further afield, the stunning and exhilarating North York Moors are only a short journey away. You can jump on the North York Moors Railway steam train departing from Whitby station and travel through quaint moorland villages. A truly special and memorable way in which to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
