Introduction
Linda and John Cudworth own Heathfield Bed and Breakfast. Situated on the A171 with parking at the rear of the house and also some street parking. All local amenities and the harbour are approximately 8 minutes walk away from the property. We do not accept pets of any kind. All rooms have individual temperature controls.
Access to the property
There are 3 steps leading to the front door they are 7″ high one step at the front door 4″ high, therefore it is not suitable for wheelchair users. There is lighting to the front of the property where there is a paved area with a seating area and flowerpots.
Entrance Hall
The front door opens into hall, with a wooden floor, to the left is the owners private quarters. The staircase is straight and compromises 13 stairs that measure are 6″ high and 30″ wide with a hand rail, fully carpeted lead up to the first floor. Please note there are 2 steps 6″ high and 30″ wide leading to bedroom 1.
Dining Room
There are three tables all set for two.
Bedroom 1
A door on the landing leads to room 1 and when closed gives total privacy. There is a private bathroom which includes a shower. Room 1 has one 4’ 6” cast iron bed,single wardrobe, and 2 bedside tables with lamps. TV ,3 double sockets, flooring is carpet, window looking out to the back.
Bedroom 2
Room 2 has a 4’ 6“cast iron bed, a single wardrobe with 2 bedside tables and lamps. There is a en suite shower room and a sink unit in the corner of the room. The flooring is carpet and there are 3 double sockets with a window looking out to the back garden.
Bedroom 3
Has a double 4′ 6″ bed plus a single bed comfy sofa wardrobe, dressing table 2 bedside tables, en suite with shower WC, sink, mirror two windows looking out to the front of the house.
Please note there are 3 stairs leading to rooms 2 and 3, each step is 6″ high 30″ wide.
Additional information
Evacuation procedures are provided in each room.
Fire extinguishers on all landings.
Call points are outside each room as well as in the hallway & all floors.
Mains controlled smoke detectors on all corridors, stairways and bedrooms.
Emergency lighting in hallways and on all landings.
In the event of a fire the smoke detectors would sound and evacuation is via the front door.
